Although I don't at present have a conformation dog, I am intrigued
about how one goes about conditioning a dog for the conformation ring.

Are there any definitive books to buy that explain this process in
detail? Similarly, is there anything written (or better yet on DVD)
that one can purchase to learn about grooming?

I came from shelties and these things exist for that breed. I've had at
least one GSD for the past 7 years (and spent two years finding her) so
I have read a lot. And I've been a member of this list for about 9
years and appreciate it, because it helped me find a breeder!

But now I'd like to take my knowledge up a notch. My breeder is
terrific and I know she would mentor me -- but she lives a long way
away. Are there any resources I can purchase to get started?
