We came into the Breed in the 60's and I still remember the long loins, short
croups and tails stuck on
that short croup like a 'plunger'....lots of ring tails and fiddle fronts....(
out at the elbows ) and missing teeth.

To set the record straight, I was referring to rear angulation when I said the
dogs have changed structurally. Since I only got into GSD's in the early
'90's, my study of early GSD's has been limited to texts and old Reviews and
from asking questions of people like you who have been in the breed for years.
