Helen, I agree with this, but some of the greatest producers in the breed have
not been finishable. A lot of great show bitches have not been able to produce
their way out of a paper bag. I like a strong ROM pedigree, especially on the
bottom side also. Ann

again, if you can get a dog with several top littermates that may be all you
need. Dogs from a 4 or 5 champion litter carry the genotype to produce. Anyway,
though this may be unpopular with some....show stock is breeding stock.
