Wow! What a trip to Baton Rouge we had. Neither Nick, nor I, had ever been to
Louisiana. So, we were looking forward to this Futurity weekend. We had a
great time with friends from all over. I want to thank each and every one of
the club members of these clubs for hosting such a great weekend. The Bookers,
Trahone's, Lee Brown and many others held a quality Futurity weekend and the
handler's & exhibitors DID notice! Thank you!
The show site was perfect, along with the weather, people & Scott & Lauren's
food! The traffic was bad, but we adjusted. A special thanks to Scott
Trahone for force-feeding me Crawfish! lol He didn't really force me... but I
did need some encouragement. When they brought our table a tup full of 20 lbs+
of crawfish....let's just say..I had never seen anything like that before!
Now the fun stuff...Brags!
Our beautiful black girl, Bee Gee's Special Angel v Franken (Ch Almar's Nubian
Prince x Bee Gee's Phoenix of Angel) won a quality 12-18 bitch class at all 3
specialties. Thank you Lee Brown, Randy Hamm & Jorge Noya. Then on Sunday
Angel smoothly gaited her way to Reserve Best in Futurity Bitch! Thank you
Joan Fox.
Thank you SO much Christy Heiman for showing our wild child to her win on
Sunday. You really did do a fantastic job.
Also on Sunday - Treu's A Kut Above (Sel Ch Mechanical Bull of Edan x Treu's
Andi v Sutana) won a large, quality Teenage dog class and went on to go Reserve
Best in Futurity Dog. Congrats Breeder/Owner Christine Morgan!
Last but not least - Ch Shadyrock's Dancin Doll (WB from last year's Nat'l) was
awarded Best in Maturity in lovely competition! Huge congrats to Linda Burley!
Thank you Joan Fox for the win and comments on Dolly!
A big thanks to Nick Fedorow Jr for doing an amazing job in the heat with
bathing, grooming, doubling, walking, feeding, and getting all of these dogs to
perform so well. We could not have had these wins without your help!
