[ SHOWGSD-L ] Brags!!!

Home from Connecticut with good news, and had more waiting for me on the
machine.
First, our little spitfire BIM CH Kridler's Nutmeg v Signature OFA EXC
went BOB today under John Bemont over six specials!? Meg just makes us
so proud! She also finished her championship not long ago in Virginia,
taking the last two of the five majors she earned in 6 shows. She was
beautifully presented, as always, by Kent Boyles; and is owned by
myself Jim and Sheree Moses, who are responsible for her stunning
career.
Meg is by CH Kenlyn's Aries v HiCliff ROM OFA x BIS Am/Can CH Kridler's
Tanzanite v Signature OFA. She was bred by Tari Kridler and Joe and
Leslie Beccia.
Now on to Connecticut, where I attended my very first SV show, hosted
by the Working German Shepherd Dog Club of EastConn. I brought along my
new acquisition, Horatio vom Drache Feld, now 7 months old. I am
exceedingly proud to report that not only did I survive (these people
take doubling to a new level; my legs are killing me!), but my puppy
went VP2 in a very nice class under SV Judge and Koermeister Margit van
Dorssen. He was presented by handler Pat Kuehn.
"Cain" is by VA1 (DK) Karats Ulko BHP3 IPO3 KKL1 x Calalily vom Drache
Feld SchH1. He was bred by Charlie Starr of Drache Feld German
Shepherds.
If you've never been to an SV show, I strongly encourage you to check
it out. It was an educational experience and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
For example, every dog in every class is placed and then critiqued on a
megaphone. The crowd was told that my puppy has "a perfectly
constructed head." And that he actually has "a better layback of
shoulder than the VP1 (puppy)" but she couldn't see him gaiting enough.
She did say that in the "three steps" she was able to catch, he appears
to be "very well put together." Then she added that the doubling was
terrible LOL.
