[ SHOWGSD-L ] Re: Bloat and Speed Eaters

I had a GSD female that gulped her food. It drove me nuts. I started feeding
her in a round puppy feeding tray with big rocks in it to slow her down. It
worked but was really a pain to live with.
Here is another question while we are on the subject. I believe that more
torsions occur in the spring and fall months. Anyone have a clue why? What
would be different that time of year?

I did with those horses and later in dogs was to put a couple of bricks - (
yeah real bricks) in their food pans so they had to sort around for the food
and that prevented food gulping. weather or not is is any preventative for
