[ SHOWGSD-L ] Barbie & Scott Balyeat Tues evening UPDATE!!!!

Hello again,
I dont know if these e-mails are making the list or not, but here's the
latest from Long Beach, MS (5 miles from the Gulf)
Just after 6 PM here in FL & Barbie has called. More good news!! Their rental
house is intact other then a pillar through the front window. Everyone is
still fine, but the dogs are hot without the AC even fans dont seem to do much.
They have already made contact with FEMA. She can seem to make long distance
calls out occasionally, but local calls & inbound calls are not working.
Scott has now hooked up the generator & they have some power, fans for the
dogs & lights swapping out with other things. They also have a big enough
generator to hook up their well for running water but it also is on a limited
basis.
She once again THANKS everyone for all the prayers & thoughts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The back wall of her classroom is gone & not a book remains in the library.
She says the devastation is unimaginable there!!
She says people are in dire need of supplies, ice, clean water, generators,
etc.... If anyone with rescue reads this Barbie & Scott are also trying to help
with any rescue & additional pet needs for folks, so she says let me (Lorrie)
know who & what all to do & contact & I will relay it over & she will do
whatever is needed.
Once again any thing you folks need to know from the Gulf Port/Long Beach,
Biloxi area Barbie can do her best to help answer.
On a funny note......... Little Miss Katie is out in the yard helping "daddy"
Scott clean up the huge branches even if it means she has to straddle the
LOGS & drag her head between her front legs LOL Her newest fun toy to
retrieve
for Scott are the shingles.
Still no word on Bill & Pat Robinson since the arrived home, or Jamie, Tim
Mauffray, Ms Barbara, Moose, Tiki & the puppies :((
