[ SHOWGSD-L ] BOB 74 for Strider & brags for his kids!

This was a good weekend for Strider and his kids!

Today, in Northern California at the Camellia Capital Kennel Club  
show, under judge Christina Hubbell, Ch. Rohan's Reward TC, CGC,  
HT,CD,RE,CHIC was awarded Best of Breed #74 and went on to a Herding  
Group 4th.

His daughter, Jezra's C-R Zahara of Showboat (Stella) was Winner's  
Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex from the American bred  
class.

His son, Scherzar's Son of a Witch (Merlin) won his 12-18 class and  
was moved up in winners.

This is all following yesterday's brag on the list by Bobbie Kindy,  
when another on of Strider's kids, Winterhawk's Breakfast at Rohan  
(Zeva) was WB, BOW, BOS & BP from the 9-12 class under Gary Newton.

One of the best things about the weekend was that Zeva is shown by  
Jessica Frentz, a junior, and this is her first GSD!  Jessica also  
took Merlin back in today in the winner's class and did a very nice  
job with him. It is really great to see this young lady wanting to  
show our breed.  She is working very hard to learn everything about  
handling a GSD and every time you see her, you can just see how much  
she is learning and putting what she has learned to work.

Special thanks to by good friend, Art Sinclair who shows Strider,  
Stella & Merlin and to Tracy Radigan who grooms and conditions the  
dogs and is also the other mother to Stella and Merlin!

Strider, aka Multi BISS & Multi Group Winning Ch. Rohan's Reward  
TC,CGC,HT,CD,RE, CHIC was bred by Bobbie Kindy and Kathy Aubrey.  He  
is out of Sel. Ch. Utopia's Blast From The Past ROM by Sel. Am. & Sel  
Can. Ch. Witmer's Jamiroqui ROM.

Stella's dam is BIM Rivendell Chopae Rubasse and was bred by J.  
Cunningham, P. Root & Tracy Radigan  and is owned by myself and Tracy  
Radigan

Merlin's dam is Ch. Scherzar's Cinnamon Twist and was bred by Janice  
Staley and P. & J. Root and is owned by Janice Staley and Kay Springer  
and is residence with Tracy Radigan.

Zeva's dam is Witmer's Frosted Toffee and was bred by Christine  
Simmons and Bobbie Kindy and is owned by Christine Simmons and Jessica  
Frentz.

Also want to thank Jessica's mom, Stephanie Frentz who is always at  
ringside to help out or take a dog in.

It is great to have this new family involved with our breed.

Whew....sorry so long but it was a good two days and wanted to  be  
sure I thanked everyone involved....hope I didn't forget anyone!

So yes we had a great weekend with Strider and his kids.
