Cyndy...when I was flying home from the National watching a movie on my
laptop...the flight got bumpy..the plane was full and the guy next to me had a
drink on his tray table....I decided to put my laptop away.........what were
you doing in Charlotte?...the National was three weeks ago?...lol....I'll come
to your pity party!......FB

Thursday afternoon I was flying home from Charlotte and, in turbulence, the
drink that was sitting on my tray table ended up in my bag and on my laptop.
I pushed the flight attendant call button...twice...and they just looked
back at me but never came. By the time I could get out of my seat and up to
the lavatory to get towels, my hard drive was drowned. Does anyone know
anyone who does data recovery?
On my laptop were of course all my emails and contacts, and all my photos
and artwork...plus my school papers! It took me a couple of days, but I am
now on a new computer, but don't have any of my "stuff".
So, if you never have, or have not in awhile, make sure you back up anything
important on your computer to an external drive or CD or something else.
Heck, just print it all out if you have to! But don't be caught like I
was!!!
Anyway, everyone gather around, grab a drink and make me feel better. :)
