I wanted to ask about angulation in the hocks and find out some information about it. I looked on the Parent club site to read about the standard and didn't find out anything there relating too much to the hocks. I have three bitches. (Mother and her two daughters). The mother is very extreme in the hindquarter with angulation to her hocks. Her one daughter who is almost a carbon copy of her is also like this. Her sister has just a regular hock without the angulation. Any discussion about this? Any purpose for it? From what I see with the one daughter who has the angulation, she has a very strong driving rear and gets her hindquarter very well under her. The other doesn't drive as well. Just my observation. I'd like to hear more about this from other breeders. Best wishes, Barbara -- Barbara J.
