There's one bad part of this idea, "late September".
The American National used to be held during the
first week of November, now it's the first week or
so of October.
Why bother with the end of September, why not just
move right to the same weekend as the Canadian
National which is always the third weekend of September.

For all you west coast folks asking, I just wrote Gail asking for exactly
what she needs to have for a national.
We know the facility has a large arena with seating and the Willamette
Valley is sod heaven so sod is no problem. The agility was held in the dirt
floored "practice arena". Lots of stalls, bathing facilities, showers for
people all within feet of the mail arena. There are two concrete floored
buildings, one with conference rooms, where obedience/rally can be held.
There is a fine park across the street that would be perfect for the Sieger
Show. Lots of dog-friendly hotels within a 1 mile radius, three right next
to the facility. Late Sept would be a great time for a show!
So when we get the requirements from Gail we can contact Albany and Linn
County and if they are as generous and helpful as last time, we will at
least put together a good presentation. Then we will see what happens.
