I get this question at least one time a month. You cannot make someone  
agree with you, and they can't make you agree. If you have no written agreement 
 as to terms or control, then either you accept that you have no power, or 
you  walk away.
 
This is why a total co-ownership is a problem.  Try to agree on how to  
raise a kid, and you can imagine how hard it is if you should put a dog down,  
ship for training, or breed them.  You can't put a kid down, and you can't  
walk away, no matter how much you want. 
 
From a dog, you can do nothing if the co-owner does not agree. The best  
solution is to never put yourself in this position.  If and when it  happens, 
and it has to all of us, learn from it. Run away, and never do it  again.
