[ SHOWGSD-L ] +AKC vs UKC

Ok All, I recently was talking to a gal who raises puppies - hmmm maybe
5 or 6 diffferent breeds - and she was telling me about a new young bitch
she had just gotten (not GSD) and how she would begin breeding her to a new
young male she had. Her hubby asked me what "limited" registration ment
and I tried to explain that her puppies could not be registered with AKC.
The wife replies that it is OK - she buys AKC limited registration dogs all
the time and switches them to UKC (I think that is the initials she said)
breeds them and registers the pups UKC.
Question: CAN YOU DO THAT???!!!
