What a show that was.  There was a strong campaign to make Quasar  Grand 
Victor. There were signs posted in the bathroom, and lots of advertising  to 
make it.  I remember buttons, and some arm twisting.  I laughed at  some of 
the rumors, such as this was the "last chance" etc.  He came  close.
