I'm going to answer some of my own questions too. Can't answer all of
them, because I went out of the breeding/showing part of it for awhile
and just kept my last two as house dogs. So I can't account for the
beautiful animals that were shown during that time. So from what I
remember and liked: Best producing dog: years ago, Sundance Kid. What
I've seen today (I can't include Dallas as he's still being used, but I
liked very much the producing ability of Sel Ch Kismet's Heartthrob,
Favorite male of all time: GV Ch Mannix of Fran-Jo ROM, typey bitch:
Mystique, best moving bitch: I owned ONE of them: BIM Ch Arbar's Xanadu
ROM, best judging: one of the many Nationals that Ed Barritt did (can't
remember which one - he did so many), Weaknesses in the breed today:
reaching from the elbow on both males and bitches, flat croups, few
great side gaiters, strengths: beautiful breed type, temperament has
improved. Judges for futurities: BREEDERS!, If I'm judging and both
dogs are equal in quality, (ideally like to have type & movement) but
rarely will I put the standing dog over the moving dog.
