[seeditmaxi] Configuring Apache Issue

Hello,
Im having a problem trying to configure apache on my macbook (I have
leopard). I get the display from firefox "Failed to Connect".
Ive done everything right based on instructions Ive read from several
sources, not sure what the problem is?
So far Ive done the following:
Made sure my user account is on flie with Apache2 through "terminal"
Made sure the LoadModule for php5 does not have the "#" mark on the
http.conf file
Turned my websharing on, when I click on the computer website that's
when the error message from firefox or safaris says
"Failed to Connect"
Any suggestions? Thanks.
