Well we have been watching the weather and it looks like the hurricane
will not affect our trip so we are planning to GO!
If the hurricane path changes, and we reverse our decision, we'll let
you know.
See everyone tomorrow @ 4:30 at the hut.
Remember to pack an extra pair of shoes to raft.

Subject: Troop 17 - Whitewater Rafting Trip = August 26 - August 28
It's time to go rafting with Troop 17 and we have been offered a great
deal. Dads are encouraged to participate because this is an excellent
rafting trip and we need help with transportation. All the information
is below, but we need the following ASAP if you plan to go since this
trip has a limited amount of spaces:
1. Please email me back if can drive
2. Send a check to my home (2204 Teal Court) for $155 made payable to
Troop 17
3. Email or mail to my home the filled out release agreement (attached
or at the following link)

WHEN: August 26 - August 28 (Friday-Sunday)
DEPARTURE: Friday, 4:30 p.m. from Scout Hut
RETURN: Sunday, approximately 1:00 p.m.

Lower New River One Day Trip - Adventure Class.
No experience required. 10 person guided rafts.
We will take our own tents & sleeping bags. Extra money needed for a
fast food meal Friday evening and lunch on the way back Sunday. The
package includes: breakfast, lunch & dinner on Saturday and breakfast on
Sunday.
COST
Package Adventure $135.00
Transportation (Cars) 20.00
TOTAL* $155.00*
* Does not include meal on the way up and back or any souvenirs (Tee
shirts, etc...) that may be purchased.
We have made this trip several time and all the boys and dads have had a
great time.
