Hi Scouts, below is an opportunity for any of our scouts (&/or parents) to
get their required service hours.  This event is an easy and fun opportunity
to help feed the hungry in Haiti.  We will be building food packs to be
shipped next week.

 

As you can see below, we need 4-5 more boys (more if possible).  Please
reply if you are attending and I'll help organize a travel time for us to
maybe meet at the hut.

Guys,

 

Thanks again to you and your family members for your willingness to
participate in the October Pack-A-Thon.  As a reminder, we will meet at The
Lamb's Chapel, 415 Roxboro Rd., Haw River, this Saturday, October 30, 2010,
from 8:45 - 11:00 am.  Thus far we have the following team members:

 

Tom and John Charles Steele

Keith and Gracey Strickland

John and Christian Maynard

John, Mary, and Lane McDonald

 

This totals 9 team members and we need a minimum of 12.  So if you know of
anyone else who would like to come out and be on our team please let me know
and bring them along.

 

John Maynard - We could use 4-5 boy scouts from Troop 17 if you think you
can recruit them.  I'll be glad to give rides Saturday morning.
