the party proceeds cautiously down the left tunnel. it turns out to be
quite short and ends in a t-junction. the way right is wider and smells
much like the rest of this cave, indeed despite the lack of chaotic bulboid
flora there are the remains of same on the floor. the way left seems to
descend gradually and has an altogether drier feel to the air.
