Nick, your daughter Sarah was delightful- cheerful and enthusiastic about
observing with Dad <G>…… Nice to see Steve out there also, despite some photo
equipment challenges. Midnight at Fishtrap – that seems to be the magic hour
this summer for skies to clear off. It also helped that the moon went down
about 1 hour before we booked it out of there. Cheers! P.

It was just me, my daughter Sarah, Steve K., and Phylis E. Clouds plagued the
early evening, but right around 10:30 it cleared up miraculously, right as
Steve left...thanks Steve! :)
We were accompanied by a large herd of cows, happily chewing and mooing away
throughout the evening.
I bagged a few more southern globs for my Messier list (M19, M62, and M80) and
generally had a ball observing the 3 visible planets, the moon (which was a
gorgeous crescent) and the milky way. M
