Going for a 3-peat tonight since I had an event this evening cancel, and ...
spring break! Need I say more 🙂....Shooting for 7:30 - 10ish to catch Andromeda
higher in the sky. Company welcome!

Shucks, forgot to mention - sadly, no. I was able to set up so that the
outhouse blocked it - multi use, that building!

Thanks Phyllis - sounds like that awful bright blinking light to the SW is gone?

Hi- the observing at Fishtrap the last 2 nights was excellent. Pretty chilly,
as you could imagine- the road in mostly ok, but 1/2 way past the farmhouse
there’s a patch of pretty deep potholes all across the width of the road to be
wary of. Picked up some ‘new to me’ M objects around Sirius. Hope the weather
is favorable for Sat.’s starparty! Phyllis

Yes it was quite an evening - we drove over to High Drive at 7:30 and observed
Mercury shining 6 or so degrees above Venus, barely in the same binocular
field. Also observed M42, and the Beehive.
Should be another good show tonight.

Good sky tonight clear and steady, no wind. Good night to practice your M
