The Richland County Public Library System is sponsoring two Reading
events in which participants can receive free books:

Saturday - March 30, North Main Street Branch, 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM:
Children 3 - 10 years can enjoy the picture book groups and children
ages 10 and up can read Sharon G. Flake's Money Hungry. Parents can
participate in a Growing Savers workshop on debt management and saving.

Saturday, April 6, Main Branch - Assembly Street, 10:30 AM - 12 noon:
USC graduate students studying the history of Children’s Literature
will give kids a blast from the past through great “old timey” books.
Children ages 3 to 10 can come and enjoy the picture book groups; those
ages 8 and up can read Mary Poppins by P.L. Travers before the program
and come ready for a lively discussion. Every participant gets a free
book!
