Members and Guests: Bring your telescopes to the South Mountain Park Public
Star Party Wednesday, October 5, 2016! It runs from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. Venus,
Mars, and Saturn as well as a crescent Moon will be visible. There is a
12th mag comet in the same area that may be visible. Some pictures of the
South Mountain Environmental Education Center where it will be held are on
the Facebook SAC page. Go all the way south on Central Ave into the park,
and past the entrance booths make a quick left and up the road a few
yards to the Center on the right. Go thru the parking lot and onto a gravel
road that runs around the building where we can set up on the southwest
side in the courtyard.
