Greetings all;

After several months of finding and repairing a variety of errata, the SAC
deep sky database in version 8.1 is ready. Virtually nothing of the
structure of the data has been changed, mostly poor typing in the NOTES
and a few positions were in error.

The Saguaro Astronomy Club prepared information on over 10,000 objects and
are making that database available to the world for free. The entire
Messier, NGC, PK and Barnard designations are covered. The best of the
Trumpler, Lynds, Abell, Collinder and many others are available. We
assembled this as a listing of all the objects available for worthwhile
viewing in 6 or 8 inches of aperture and these objects are the most famous
in the sky to those fortunate enough to have larger scopes.

The SAC website is:  www.saguaroastro.org

Enjoy;
Steve Coe
