Don't worry, GoDaddy isn't being hacked but there are reports it's undergoing a DDOS (distributed denial of service) attack by the loser group Anonymous. A DDOS attack uses a botnot of thousands of hacked computers (all those folks who still don't believe in using antivirus programs!) to flood a particular "target" with repeated requests - as if all the owners of those computers are trying to pull up and continually click-click-click through web pages on sites hosted by GoDaddy. The result is the target site appearing extremely slow or even unreachable by legitimate surfers. My company has our websites hosted at GoDaddy and we were notified that the attack may slow or make our sites unreachable. I haven't noticed any issues but others at my company have noticed slowness. The SAC website works fine for me currently. Wayne On Mon, Sep 10, 2012 at 2:51 PM, Bob Christ <bchrist@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: I just saw a news flash that GoDaddy was hacked big time. If the SAC site is hosted by GoDaddy, this is probably the cause. If you refresh your browser AJ, my guess is your archived page will be deleted and you'll see that which others are seeing when trying to access the SAC Website - nadda.
