Club Members and Guests!

Well it's that time again almost and it looks like Astronomy Day is going
to be
on Saturday, April 28 this year. Saguaro Astronomy Club is having the
35th Annual SAC Public Star Party on this date at Thunderbird Conservation
Park in Glendale.

Please join us for the 35th Annual Public Star Party at Thunderbird
Conservation Park in Glendale on Saturday, April 28, 2012. The event
will be sponsored by Glendale Parks and Recreation Department and
hosted by the Saguaro Astronomy Club. Let's have telescopes
large and small set up and available for public viewing
from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm (sunset 7:09 pm). We will show a variety of
astronomical objects including the Moon, Planets, Stars and Deep Sky
Wonders. Please answer any questions they may have about
the heavens and astronomy in general.

Please join us for a night under the stars!

Directions: To get to Thunderbird Park in Glendale, take Loop 101 to
67th Ave and go north 1.6 miles to Patrick Lane (just past Mountain
Ridge High School). Turn right at the entrance to the park at the
stoplight at Patrick Lane. Follow the signs and proceed to the parking
lot at the observing field. Check our website on our Calendar of Events!
