I had a few on the LX series that were stuck pretty well.  I used the output of 
a shop vac and pressurized it a bit.  Make sure there is someone there to catch 
it when it pops off.

Obviously the shop vac needs to be new or really clean.....

I need to remove the corrector plate on my C-11 before I try to sell it.  After 
removing the retaining ring, it did not want to budge.  Has anybody else had 
this problem, and if so, found a solution?  If not, I'll see what we can do at 
Paul's ATM meeting this Tuesday.  Thanks.
