Subject: [sac-forum] Jan 09, 2009 Mtg agenda / speaker?

To whom it may concern:

Does anyone know the speaker / agenda for the Jan 09, 2009 meeting? I've
been checking the SAC website for weeks now. It still has 2008 dates under
the meetings link. When you go to the speakers listing, the last entry was
for Feb 2008. If you go under the calendar of events link. Sometimes it
will display properly and sometimes the page errors out while loading (on
multiple systems / platforms). It appears it is because of the .pdf link
of all the calendar images, which sometimes loads and sometimes does not.
Depending on what version of adobe the computer you are running has
installed, etc.

However, even if you read the Dec 08 newsletter or other newsletters in the
past you only get the date of the meeting, usually nothing else. This has
been like this for awhile now. I brought this issue up at one of the past
meetings months ago and was told it was in work. Is the board going to
address this Fri. regarding timely updates of the website? If we really
want to increase attendance and membership we really need to keep the
website as up to date as possible and not rely on the forums to desiminate
information. New members or guest are only going to view / have access to
the SAC website to locate information. If it is not there, then they move
on to the next club / information.

It would be nice to know who is speaking and the meeting agenda prior to the
meetings (for members and guests). It is a long drive for some and this is
usefull in determining attendance for many.

Thank you for your time and consideration of this matter.

Respectfully,

Steve Palmer
