I used the EVAC classifieds for my 8" telescope and got a buyer in 2 weeks.  He lived 2 miles from my house. At the time I wondered why SAC didn't do same.  Yes we have a For Sale section in our newsletter, but so does EVAC.

I didn't know EVAC had a page of classified ads!  Maybe SAC could do that or collaborate w/ EVAC.
