I agree. I think we should get the additional submissions and decide then while

I could go with either choice. I like some of the ideas and the simplicity of 
Amy's but more choice could be good... As long as it didn't take too long... :/

From a marketing/ design perspective, this has a long way to go. I think our 
best bet would be to pay a professional to help get it user friendly and focus 
on what's most important to feature.  It should also integrate a new logo-- 
building a whole branded theme for all print and digital projects.



So back to the logo project-- I've been conflicted since we have so many 
different issues with different designers going on right now. I think we now 
have two new options to choose from:



1. Choose Amy St Clair as our designer, tell her we'd pay her something, and 
have her make any revisions to her options we'd like.

2. Go back to soliciting portfolio work and bids from our list of designers 
(but not Amy-- we've got enough to decide if she's our designer or not at this 
point) and then choose one designer from there to make us multiple artwork 
options.



Any comments or concerns with these two options?

I have made the changes I am able to and contacted the web developer about
the issues I cannot address.

We have the dietary button on the front page for our non sponsored event
guests of whom there are thousands and literally hundred who need to
contact us prior to their group arriving. We direct the contact for each
group to let their people know the button is on the home page for easy
access.

On a side note, I asked the consultant we met with in WV last week to
review the changes we have made and he was ecstatic about hoe improved our
site was, and pleased that we put his training information into action.

Hi John,
A few things on the new website...There seems to be a big difference
with the website viewed on computer vs. smartphone.  The view on my
laptop is really nice, on my iphone, I see a lot of problems.

Photos are great but I can only pull up one photo at a time to see a
larger photo and have to arrow back to pull up the next photo. Would be
nice to be able to swipe thru on the phone or arrow forward the whole
section. This happens on both computer and phone...

I would like to see the initial page more appealing in color and font.
There is purple & orange and then our beautiful building which are more
natural colors. Would like it to match or blend better. The font of our
tagline feels outdated.

Is the "upcoming events" section completed or still in progress?  My
laptop showed a blank space there but my phone had weird codes and camp
descriptions that don't make sense. On my iphone the "upcoming Events"
pops up under several tabs, which I thought was unnecessary.

Under the "about us" tab, under "mission statement" section, some words
are cut off in my iphone version.

I also think "dietary requests" doesn't necessarily need to be on the
first page-not important for someone new checking out RP online in my
opinion.

I do like the comments on the bottom of first page but would like to
see a heading such as "visitor comments" or something...to make it
stand out.  this pops up at the very bottom of the iphone version, and
needs to have a heading.

Under "youth camps", I'd like to see the individual youth camps in bold
to make them stand out more, so they could be easily found.

I love the video and can't wait to have another-maybe one to highlight
conferences at RPC?

I hope my feedback is helpful and not petty.  That's my two cents.
