Board members (particularly those who couldn't make the call):
Those of us on the call really liked the new logos (attached). The majority
of us who previously liked the #3 version have jumped into the #9 camp--
the font change and tree design are "edgy-ier" and more camp-like. We love
all the versions of #9!
Our favorite is #9, row F. We love the three elements all in one, and
simplicity (not heavy) of the design. The tree outline is a perfect combo
of natural looking yet contemporary. The letter R with the river wave is so
classy... yet not too formal. The font is perfect. We also like the
colors-- maybe want an adjustment to the lighter green color?
I just asked the designer Josh for the "full meal deal" with that logo-- a
horizontal version in addition to this vertical version, one with the words
"Camp and Conference Center" and one with "Est. 1948". We have three one
color versions, we'd like a 2 or 3 color version too.
If those who missed the discussion have further input or comments, please
respond to this within a couple of days. I'll get those last versions of
what is probably our chosen logo from the designer this week and if we
approve then he can send final versions our way... just in time to start
using at youth camps (ish.)! :)
