A quick update on what’s new to the SPEVI website.
New resources and information are continuously added so check out our website
<http://www.spevi.net/> regularly.
· Although not yet finalised, the list of current and new SPEVI
councillors has been updated on http://www.spevi.net/councillors
· Thanks to Jordie Howell, we have added a link to the valuable webpage
from the Australian Braille Authority with braille music teaching resources and
publications <http://brailleaustralia.org/about-braille/music-braille/> , on
the SPEVI resources webpages: “Music and Arts
<http://www.spevi.net/music-sounds-arts/> ”, and “All things Braille
<http://www.spevi.net/braille/> ”.
· On the same webpages I have also added a link to Braille Music Notator
<http://tobyrush.com/braillemusic/notator/> , a free online tool for creating
braille music scores, which can be used both by musicians who are vision
impaired, as well as sighted musicians.
Please email me with any comments, and suggestions for new resources and links.
Kind regards,
Phia Damsma
SPEVI web administrator
