[rollei_list] Re: WARNING about Dr. Mark Meijer c/o Global RolleiClub and Insensitivity

I stand by my statement and the definition of the word; I'll leave any
ignorance or misinterpretation to the responsibility of those that have
taken offense. Until I see a direct reference to lynching as being specific
to the black experience and limited only to that I'll continue to use the
word as I see fit.

RolleiClub and Insensitivity

We are not going to argue.
Suicide Bombing is a mob and also a single person activity.
Lynching did not make its name in this country because it was mob
specific, but that it was used to put a RACE of people in check, but
then again, how sensitive are you to the black experience that you
would CARE about something as sensitive as that.
Yes everybody lynched at sometimes in their history , like everybody
bombed but we do not know about them until BLACKS were lynched all
through slavery up to the 70s and while suicide bombing was a tactic
used in Beirut in the 70s it is known to be a Palestine weapon against
the Israelis.
And another thing if I had said something in reference to gas chambers
or suicide bombing which are also specific to certain countries and
mobs of people I would have heard it from someone who found it
offensive--that is all I am saying.
I did not say you were being racially insensitive, I just asked if it
not be used so insensitively.
