Hi Jerry,
You know I could not be a debater if I can't even spell the lens name correctly.
I have not been involved in any of the Planar vs. Xenotar debates prior since I
have a Tessar. I sold the Rolleicord to Ken about a year ago that I think was
Ken's entry into the Rollei system. I sold the 'Cord for a friend and it was a
fine one-owner camera that I almost bought myself.

Happy New Year,

Roger

  Ken'
I see that the nit-pickers are starting the again.
No matter which one you have, they are equal, except in the minds of
perverts.

Use the F with our good wishes. It is a superb camera.

Hi Kenneth, Congratualtions on moving up to a 2.8F from the Rolleicord IV!
Is it a Plannar or Xeontar? It appears that the Rollei will be an adjunct to
your Lecia photography. Roger

Llisters, Santa came in glory a few minutes ago, delivering my "new"
2.8F! It's a beauty, and I'm getting ready to load a roll of film and shoot
some outdoor pics while the sun is out. First, however, I'm going to take a
few minutes to do some of that "fondling" that everybody talks about. First
impressions: Solid, much more solid feeling than my Rolleicord V. View screen
is very, very bright and clear, and focus is easy. Meter is spot on, checked
against my Sekonic. Look forward to learning from all of you and sharing more
of this great camera with you all in the future. Peace,
