Yes, that is a good source for serial numbers. I
hadn't seen the camera serial number previously but I
could see the serial number now, it seems to be 699444
despite the 6 looks almost like 8, if the number is
699444 it is a model II like you wrote and considering
the camera has very visible modifications, the
original viewing lens bayonet could be removed and
replaced using a BI size.-
