Perhaps you are thinking about the Rolleinar close-up auxiliary lenses for the TLR, but I'm talking about the excellent Rolleinars lenses for the Rolleiflex SL 35 cameras models and the superb 2000 and 3001 and 3003 cameras systems. Some days ago I lost an auction about a CZ Oberkochen T* Distagon f2,8/25mm QBM mount for my SL 35M and then I bought an available Rolleinar zoom MC f4/80-200mm (Mamiya), I already had a Rolleinar MC f3,5/200mm prime lens (Mamiya), but the intermediate focal lengths from 80 to 200 are very useful too, this lens looks in very good condition and I'm spending the first roll with it. This zoom has two versions, the older is Mamiya origin and the newer is Tokina origin, the main difference beyond the optical construction is that the older one has about 1,80m as closest focusing distance and the newer one 1,00m, both have very interesting reproducition ratios at 200mm and closest focusing distance, larger than the prime clearly. The only German zoom available for the SL 35 cameras was the Schneider Variogon f4/80-240mm, available from 1973. CZ zooms for 35mm cameras would appear (under Japanese influence) for Contax-Yashica mount, one of the firsts was the Vario-Sonnar T* f4/80-200 and 1m for the closest focusing distance, an excellent zoom too. This is my Rolleiflex SL 35M with the two Rolleinars (taken with my P&S digital camera): http://itarphotos.blogspot.com/2010/01/rolleiflex-sl-35m-rolleinars.html Carlos --- Rollei List - Post to rollei_list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx - Subscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org - Unsubscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org - Online, searchable archives are available at //www.freelists.org/archives/rollei_list
