The serial number 7570002 belongs to a regular
production Aurum, the serial numbers are from
7.570.001 to 7.571.249 and from 8.300.001 to 8.301.500
according Peter Rongstedt TLR serial numbers page,
Peter takes as basis Prochnow serial numbers however
he corrected a few omissions in Prochnow for the
serial numbers and one of these omisions is the first
serial numbers block for the 2.8F Aurum (Prochnow
mentions the second block only), I have seen a regular
2.8F Aurum with s/n within the first block and the
serial number 7570002 confirms it. 1500 cameras were
made and the serial numbers exceed 1500, but it was
usual for Rollei production up to they started to use
encoded serial numbers to mix within the same serial
numbers blocks other Rollei products or front panels
and name plates with serial numbers as spare parts,
anyway I couldn't assure you that the commented camera
is an "authentic" Aurum,I don't know, the sellers
(Photo Arsenal Hong Kong and Germany and SH
cameras)are guys dedicated to sell expensive cameras
from some years ago.
