Yes there was such an enlarging head. It fit on the back in place of the
Graphic or Graflok back and used a cold light source. Was actually intended to
be used on a vertical stand, such as a copying stand. Have seen but not for
many years. Used the camera's lens-not the best idea, of course. I believe it
would fit only the 4x5.

Hi all,
Does anyone know whether there was ever any sort of adapter made to
enable a Speed (or Crown) Graphic - or a Busch Pressman - to be used as
an enlarger? By "adapter" I mean, a negative holder which would fit in
place at the back of the camera, plus a source of illumination behind
the negative holder?
Even if it could be then used only as a horizontal enlarger rather than
vertical, it might serve to enlarge negatives 30 to 100x.
