The trigger voltage for my Vivitar 283 made in Korea is about 6
volts. Earlier Vivitar 283 made in Japan by National at the beginning
of '70s had something from the previous Vivitar 260 flash model made
by National too, the 260 used a 9v battery and a high trigger
voltage, it was reduced for the units made in Korea and China, anyway
a test with a digital multimeter is not a bad idea.-
