More outstanding work, Mark. I've been trying to follow your NY Times car pieces. I take it the scooter series was Rollei/film? No temptation to take your Rollei to shoot some of those cars of the same vintage?

I'd love to hear about NY fashion Rollei shooting or off list you name it
shooting, Romeo.
I'm new to NY 2.5 years and had done heaps of fashion Rollei shooting in Portland Oregon. But I'm not sure if I should break into that in the big
apple.
So far I've been doing a series for the NYTimes; in digital. Human interest
cars.
I just finished my 24th in 24 months so I'm feeling pretty good about it.

I got the gig because they liked my square format black and white stuff of
scooters. But they ended up going for color. And I wanted to do it
digitally.

There is an article in the July 16 on line edition of the NY Times
entitled " Femininity, Salvaged" that I found very worthwhile.
It is about a 94- year old former fashion photographer named Lilian
Bassman who recently began to digitally enhance/manipulate her long
ago discarded negatives. There is a 9-slide show link to her
prints in the article that I found to be very good. Her bio in the
article is quite interesting as well. I never heard of her before.
Here is the link:

Interesting article and pictures.
