Well, this confirms my suspicion that Zeiss used Cosina the same way
Minolta, Olympus et. al. used them in the transitional phase between analog
and digital SLRs - use a market opportunity, then get out again. In the
end, it helped Zeiss sell M lenses. ;)
ObRollei: Same goes for the "Rollei" M bayonet viewfinder, I guess.
ObRollei2: A summarily "Thank you" to you, Carlos, for posting your Rollei
photos, as a reminder that these cameras are ment to be more than
dust-collecting items.
