Folks some interesting news:
Franke & Heidecke to be re-established.
As published yesterday,
Rollei is planning to relocate the distribution and marketing of the
consumer cameras from Braunschweig to Berlin.
In the meantime the traditional part of Rollei, producing prefessional
systems remains at its traditional premises in Braunschweig.
This branch will be overtaken by the Rollei managers Hartje, Sabban,
Krings and Schönrock and the grandsons of Franke and Heidecke, Kai Franke
and Rainer Heidecke who wil re-enter the buisness.
The "new" name of this company will be "Franke & Heidecke".
Franke & Heidecke will continue to produce and marked the professional
cameras in Braunschweig under the brand name Rollei.
