My 2.8D came back from the capable hands of Jürgen Kuschnick today, and it looks almost brand new. No more Zeiss bumps, much brighter screen (Maxwell), new mirrors for viewer and sports finder, working EVS system (it is a bit hard to turn, but that may be due to design) and it looks like he polished/cleaned the body. Full transport and shutter overhaul as well. It cost me almost as much as the camera, but I think it was worth it, the camera should be good for another 20 years. It's older than I am!
I can recommend Jürgen based on this very positive experience. Looking forward to getting out and shooting a few rolls with it.
