John, No problem at all, my friend. It was great meeting you and we really enjoyed ourselves out there yesterday. Looking forward to the weekend. We will be coming out again today to lend a hand as well. Getting kind of a late start, but we will make it. Again, I want to thank.you for the gift yesterday. It was not expected but certainly appreciated. The Coffee's Sent from my Verizon Wireless 4GLTE smartphone ----- Reply message ----- From: "J. First things first - I arrived on the lakebed yesterday to do the initial layout/set-up and got a good start on it. April and Chris Coffee showed up to help and we got the flaglines out and the initial lake striping done before we lost our light. Kudos to the Coffee's as without them it just wouldn't have happenned. Now, as to the weather - I'm sure hoping Kevin's got it right as right now it's pretty miserable. My 5th wheel has been rocking all night (and, no, it's not the good kind of rocking - more like the "is this sucker going to blow over" kind). Winds are from the west and quite strong with significant gusts and temps are cool (now that the sun's up - before that they were downright cold - no outside thermometer but the heater worked most of the night just to keep the inside temps at 60F). Sky is relatively clearwith some clouds but NO rain. Ran into some on the way here but nothing since arriving on the lakebed. If you come out today be prepared for wind and cold weather. Now for those of you with money just burning a hole in your pocket - Jack's here. And looking out my window i,ve got a wonderful view of a rainbow terminating on Jack's trailer - awesome - must be a sign!(a sign that there's moisture in the air somewhere off to the west) Anyway, I hope to see you all shortly.
