Hi Jeff, We had a nice static firing of our new 4-grain Double D 'coreless' L-class sugar motor on Friday. The wind kept flyers grounded until near sunset when one was launched followed by our test. To our knowledge, it was the first time mach diamonds were seen in a sugar propellant motor. I was with a university student I mentor that had to get back so we missed launches on Sat-Sun.
