Subject: [roc-chat] ROC Hams

Since a number of ROC members are also amateur radio operators, I thought it
might be a good idea for us to collect and publish some information for the use
of other hams who might be coming out to visit a ROC launch for the first time.
For example, I talked to Leslie & Scott, and found out what repeater and
simplex frequencies that they generally use in the area.

I'm interested in gathering the same sort of info from any other ROC amateurs
who bring their radios out to our launches. As soon as I have a few people's
responses, I'll post an info page on the ROC web site, summarizing the
information.

In the interim, as a test, I'll have my HT with me at ROCstock, and will be
tuned to either 146.535 MHz (simplex), or to the Quartzite Mtn.
repeater at 146.940 MHz (-0.600 MHz/PL 91.5 Hz) in case anyone wants to talk,
or needs directions in to the site.
