You can track the real time progress of MSL and Curiosity at NASA's "Eyes on 
the Solar System" web site - an interactive web site that lets you track 
exactly where the Mars Science Laboratory is and then lets you speed up time 
through a simulated landing - or go backwards in time as well.  In addition, 
you can click on "Explore the Universe" to explore planets as well as riding 
along (past and future) on some deep space exploration missions (click on 
Destination").  There are tutorial videos to help with its use (showcased at 
Planetfest 2012 Saturday):
