Wow, this is the 9th year of ROCtober, and we are the ones that make ROCtober
happen. This is a fun ‘pay it forward’ event but we must have adequate
coverage.
Also, we need at least one backup to haul the large ROC equipment trailer to
the lakebed around Noon on Friday and back after the launch on Sunday. You
need a full-size truck, and of course experience connecting and pulling a
trailer is good. The hitch uses a typical 2” square receiver with the 7 pin
connection for electric brake control. It is set-up for weight distribution.
It’s only a short distance from Sundowner to the lakebed.
