Can you print from your RPC in B&W?
What sort of connection is there to the Samsung printer - wired, wireless?
Presumably the PC that had the driver update is a Windows one? Can you
print both B&W and colour stuff from that?
When colour prints fail from the RPC does the printer 'wake up' - if it has
a front panel does it suggest that data is arriving?
Does the printer have a diagnostic mode where it 'dumps' whatever data is
sent to it? If so, you could see if anything at all is received when you
try to send a print from the RPC.
