Essex Street Academy is small New York City public high school located on the
Lower East Side of Manhattan. We are currently looking for teachers for
September, 2011 who are innovative, hardworking, flexible and interested in
working in an education model based on collaborative leadership. Interested
candidates should be willing to work in multiple roles, including classroom
teacher, advisor, and after school club coordinator and/or tutor. An
understanding of or interest in project-based learning is a must.
